Do you care deeply about the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults and have high expectations for all regards their welfare? Are you experienced with leading safeguarding either in the public or private sector? If so, you could be our new Trust Safeguarding Lead!
As the Trust Safeguarding Lead you will work closely with the Chief Education Officer to oversee all strategic safeguarding and child protection across our 9 academies and our Trust Shared Services, ensuring that the Trust’s mission, vision and values are reflected in every aspect of Safeguarding policy and practice. The work is varied and interesting and includes shaping and implementing a forward-looking, purpose-driven Safeguarding & Child Protection strategy which ensures that all Voyage academies are fully meeting their statutory duties and building sustainable approaches to safeguarding whilst supporting Headteachers and Designated Safeguarding Leads to provide advice and support on child welfare and child protection matters where required.
The Voyage Education Partnership currently has nine academies, eight of which have been graded Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
We educate over 3,500 pupils throughout the Boston and South Holland areas of Lincolnshire. Academic outcomes across our MAT have improved over time in all academies. Our provision is fully inclusive and we work hard to safeguard the welfare of all our people and learners through a consistent approach of policy into practice.
