Acting Wellbeing Hub Leader

Salary: £45,150
Hours: 35 hrs per week
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Acting Wellbeing Hub Leader at Queensferry High School. This is a fixed-term post up to 14 October 2022. If an applicant would like to apply for this post as a secondment, they will have to obtain permission from their current Headteacher before applying for the post.
Queensferry High School is a six-year comprehensive school in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. We are delighted to have moved last session into our brand new school with excellent new resources.

The school is firmly committed to raising attainment and promoting achievement. This is a whole school priority in improvement planning and reflects local, CEC and national priorities. The school roll is over 1,000 and rising. The catchment area of the school covers Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline and Kirkliston Primary Schools as well as St Margaret’s Roman Catholic Primary School at parental request. The new school has capacity for 1,200 students and has commanding views of the Forth Estuary (including the three bridges).

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
