Learning from the IICSA investigation into residential school settings

This one-day event, led jointly by Sacpa and the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA), and in association with Independent Safeguarding Consultant and expert witness to the residential schools inquiry, Marcus Erooga, aims to highlight the major themes and key learning points from the residential schools’ investigation as part of the Independent Enquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA). The conference is designed to enable delegates to be proactive in their responses to these areas of concern in advance of the publication of the inquiry report.
This one-day conference will be running virtually via Zoom. Joining details will be sent out to delegates 24-48hrs before the conference with clear instructions. The conference welcome starts at 09:00 and the conference close is at 16:30.
Audience: Governors, Heads, SLT, DSL and other key safeguarding staff, of residential schools, and other professionals interested in learning from the findings of the enquiry into residential school settings.
