Sacpa webinar: Managing school incidents and allegations, including Everyone’s Invited

This important webinar will highlight the issues related to managing peer-on-peer abuse incidents and allegations in school. It will look carefully at both the contextual and research information contained in the DfE guidance “Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment between children in schools and colleges”.
The webinar will also explore how schools can use the guidance when managing cases, and will also consider how to respond to non-recent allegations, including those which come to light as a result of Everyone’s Invited and other testimonies, and other allegations of non-recent abuse.

Speaker: Dale Wilkins, Director of Safeguarding, Sacpa
Dale Wilkins spent 31 years working in schools, mainly in residential education, of which eleven years were as safeguarding lead. He has also had safeguarding responsibilities in youth group, sports and church settings, was a multi-agency safeguarding trainer for Dudley Safeguarding Children Board and has completed an extensive “Train the Trainer” course with NSPCC.

Jason is an experienced DSL with a range of experience in senior leadership roles in schools based in the UK, including both the maintained and independent sector and boarding. At TASIS, Jason supports students aged 3 – 18, with 57 different nationalities represented in the student body.
