Job description
We are recruiting for an exciting role within a team of social workers based in East of England with responsibility for improving outcomes for adults and families. Safeguarding adults and young people is a key priority for our Department of People and, as such, applicants should have experience of statutory work with adults and families within a safeguarding role.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the safeguarding of adults by:
- delivering interventions and direct work with adults and families
- undertaking assessments and care planning in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies
- working closely with partner agencies to make sure we are providing the best support possible
- managing a defined caseload covering adults in need of protection
- creating effective records and reports
Applicants should demonstrate good organisational skills along with a commitment to teamwork. They will also require a social work qualification, DIPSW or equivalent, DBS clearance and full driving licence. The start date for the role will be 08/12/2023.
