Job Description

We currently have two exciting opportunities for highly motivated and skilled Social Workers in our Adult Social Care Safeguarding and DoLS Team

Safeguarding Social worker

In this role you will work on ensuring safety, advocacy, and empower our most vulnerable residents with all things relating to safeguarding. You will work to addressed inequity, support servers’ users proportionately, use a person-centred and strength-based approach and ensure voices are heard.

You will need an excellent knowledge of safeguarding adults and associated legalities and guidance associated with Pan London.

You will need to be a:

  • qualified social worker and a trained Best Interest Assessor is also desirable.
  • in-depth and broad knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory functions and national guidance that pertain to adults, particularly safeguarding and mental capacity.
  • Experience of holding complex safeguarding cases, as well as experience of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working.
  • You will have experience and knowledge of the statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, specifically in relation to Safeguarding and DoLs.

Adults Social Care

We aim to enable people to be safe, as independent as possible and to live the lives they want. Adults of all ages can need extra support in day-to-day life for various and often complex reasons. Adult social care is the support provided to adults with physical or learning disabilities, or physical or mental illnesses, and older people who require extra support.
