Salary: Professional Scale, Band 6-7 – £23,684.83 – £33,184.18 (FTE £35,774 – £50,122)

Location: Grafham Grange School, Horsham Road, Grafham, Guildford, GU5 OLH

Working Pattern: 26 hours per week (exclusive of meal breaks) Monday – Thursday,

8.30am – 3.30pm, Term Time Only Plus INSET Days.

Grafham Grange School is a special school for 70 students aged 10 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need. It is situated in 42 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside in Bramley offering significant opportunities for outdoor learning.

The role:

Grafham Grange School offers a truly multi-disciplinary, blended approach to therapeutic and educational support, both within individual lessons and across the school as a whole. Therapists work with teachers and care staff to enhance the learning process and provide an exciting waking day curriculum.

This is a unique opportunity to further develop clinical skills within an educational environment, to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and to use therapeutic skills creatively to meet the special educational needs of pupils.

We are seeking a Therapist who has experience of working with pupils with relevant complex learning difficulties, which includes challenging behaviour and demonstrates a keen interest in working collaboratively to provide blended therapy within an educational environment.
