Job Description

We believe every child has the power to make the world better and that we need to work together to #Keepthe Promise.

The Promise challenges us to ensure that children have the right to feel safe, supported and valued in their communities, and nothing should stand in the way of them being the best that they can be.  Can you be part of making this happen?

We are looking for a highly motivated, inspiring leader who will undertake the Team Manager role within our Children and Families Locality Service based in Cumnock.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual with relationship-building skills who can help bring families in rural communities and our partners together to provide the right support at the right time. This post will involve driving forward best practice, developing innovative and responsive services, whilst ensuring our highly skilled and committed social work professionals continue to be developed and effectively supported.  You will have the opportunity to thrive as a manager and leader within a strong Health and Social Care Partnership, which has children and families at its heart.  We are currently developing a programme for those making a step change into a Team Manager post in recognition of the value of this role in influencing and growing the Service. We recognise that for you to grow and nurture the Service, resources should be provided to enable your own continued growth. We will provide opportunities for continuous professional development to ensure you can be as effective as possible in changing children’s lives for the better.
