Join the Archery GB Welfare and Safeguarding team, keeping children, young people and adults, safe from harm.
Archery GB is the National Governing Body for the sport of archery in the UK, responsible for regulating and administering all levels of archery from grassroots clubs to performance level athletes.
Our welfare and safeguarding team provide support to members and clubs, ensuring that policies and practices prevent and manage risks.
We are expanding our safeguarding team in order to increase the levels of support we provide to our members and are seeking an individual who has experience of working within this field.
To be considered for this role you will have completed the Welfare and Safeguarding Officer ‘Time to Listen’ training and will be familiar with legislation around safeguarding and equality. You will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), an eye for detail and the ability to work in a systematic and organised way. You will also be proficient in Microsoft office packages and demonstrate high integrity and confidentiality.
Working at least 3 days a week at our headquarters in Shropshire and working from home on the other days, you will be a good team player. Having the confidence to manage challenging conversations and provide a professional and supportive response will ensure you can succeed in this role.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
