We are looking for a Wellbeing and Pastoral Lead to join our Apprenticeship Training Team based in Oxford.This role will co-ordinate and lead the well-being and pastoral programme for all apprentices and HNC Learners, devising an outstanding enrichment programme, supporting the well-being of all learners and monitoring the completion of year one progress reviews and communication with employers.The role will require you to ensure that a consistent high quality training provision is maintained, that meets and exceeds all internal and external monitoring (ESFA, Ofsted, matrix, internal and external quality processes and audits).You will also be an inspirational lead for the well-being and pastoral mentor team, enabling them to provide outstanding support to all learners within MTC Training.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities in the role will include:
- Responsible for leading the well-being and pastoral team.
- Responsible for completion of year one progress reviews meeting the requirements of ESFA Funding Rules.
- Co-ordinating employer attendance at progress reviews.
- Devise and lead MTC Training’s enrichment programme.
- Responsible for completion of apprentice Pro Monitor pages and recording off the job hours for year one of the apprenticeship programme.
- Over seeing weekly score completion and submission and working with MIS team to communicate to employers.
- Attendance at progress update meetings with key employer partners.
- Support the Apprentice Programme Manager with recruitment activities and onboarding of apprentices and HNC learners.
- Ensure sufficient colleague coverage in-centre during teaching weeks.
- Lead and support the delivery team with timely employer and learner communication with block-release information.
- Portraying MTC Training positively and hosting employer visits to centre as required.
- Ensure learner workplace health, safety and welfare by working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Mental Health First Aiders.
